Washington, DC – Today, the DC National Organization for Women endorsed Robert White for DC Mayor.
DC NOW President, Rose Brunache announced the endorsement saying they support Robert based on his “commitment to making DC a safer and fairer place for women and girls. This includes equal pay, day care, ending child marriage and sex exploitation, and more.” said DC NOW President, Rose Brunache.
“I am proud of my record as a champion for policies that support women and girls. I was a key author of the landmark Birth to Three For All DC Act, I introduced legislation to address maternal mortality, and I have led efforts to enable women-owned businesses to break into emerging industries.” said White, “I am grateful to DC NOW for their advocacy around these issues and I am honored to have their support in this election.”
Other endorsements include: Attorney General Karl Racine, DC Nurses Association, Washington Teachers’ Union, AFSCME District Council 20, DC Latino Caucus, Jews United for Justice, Our Revolution DC, DC Working Families Party, and DC for Democracy.
