ROBERT WHITE PULLS IN TWICE AS MANY DONATIONS AS THE MAYOR ON MAY FUNDRAISING REPORT

Washington, DC – Tuesday night, mayoral candidates filed the May 10 fundraising reports which showed Robert White significantly outraised the incumbent in the latest fundraising period.

“Yesterday’s fundraising report shows where the momentum is in this race,” said Luz Martinez, Campaign Manager, “We received twice as many contributions on this latest fundraising report than the two term incumbent. The mayor is funding her campaign by cozying up to developers and pressuring people who want to do business with the city. Our campaign is funded by the people, and the people are ready for a mayor who solves problems and works for them.”

The campaign received 444 contributions from DC residents for a total of $28,521. This total will be matched 5 to 1 under the DC Fair Elections Program. The average donation from DC residents was $64.
